Taylor Alison Swift
Taylor Alison Swift was born December 13, 1989 in Wyomissing Pennsylvania. She was raised by her mother Andrea Swift and her father Scott Swift who was a stockbroker. She was raised in a Christmas farm with her brother Austin, she helped around the farm as kid. I believe that she cam from a well-paid family. In fourth grade she won a national poetry contest showing off her writing skills. When she was ten she was already performing in local events like, county fairs, festivals, and karaoke contests. She taught herself how to play the guitar at the age of twelve. Taylor Swift's American Dream was to be a singer. Her grandmother Marjorie Finlay was an opera singer and inspired her to become a singer.
In order for Taylor's dream to become a reality she had to move out of Wyomissing and to a place where she could attract attention to her talent, that place was Nashville. Her parents and brother supported her in pursuing her career. Another problem Taylor faced was been bullied in middle school for how she looked. They wouldn't talk to her so she barely had any friends. But she didn't let their cruelty stop her from achieving her American Dream. She would get home from school and write in her diary songs and poems. She wrote down her feelings about the world and of what she experienced and saw, down in her diary. Taylor also had to gain experience as a performer. Taylor decided that the only way to get noticed was to perform in sports singing the National Anthem. She faced obstacles and she didn't run away. If you want your dreams then you can't back down when it gets tough.
